This is a miniature, boxier version of the Origami Wrap Sweater.  It will grow with the baby longer than most sweaters, since you can adjust how tightly or loosely you tie it.

 

This sweater is designed to be knit almost seamlessly, with the body including front edging knit in one piece to the armholes and the sleeves knit in the round with double-pointed needles.  Then the sleeves and body are joined and knit in one piece.
