Yarn: 2 skeins Blue Moon Fiber Arts BFL Sport (661 yds / 604 m per 8 oz / 226 g skein; 100% Blue Faced Leicester Wool) in Just Right Red. Actual yardage used: 750 (800, 850, 900, 950, 1000, 1050, 1100, 1150, 1200, 1250) yds.

Needles & Notions: Size 5 US / 3.75 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long. Size 5 US / 3.75 mm set of 5 double-pointed needles. Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long. Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needle, 16” / 40 cm long. Size 4 US / 3.5 mm set of 5 double-pointed needles. Size 3 US / 3.25 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. Stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle, stitch holders / scrap yarn, 10 buttons 7/8” / 22 mm diameter and matching thread.

Gauge: 24 sts and 34 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette st on size 4 US / 3.5 mm needles. 22 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Twisted Rib, moderately stretched, on size 5 US / 3.75 mm needles. To save time and to ensure accurate sizing, check gauge.

Construction Notes: Knit in one piece to the armholes. Set in sleeves start with stitches picked up at the armholes and work down to the cuffs. Deep ribbing at lower edge and cuffs. Shetland lace pattern bib is not charted – row-by-row instructions only.
