Although the instructions look lengthy and the chart may seem a little daunting Snapdragon is surprisingly simple to knit, and of course you can work from either written or charted directions. 180[220, 260]yds / 165[200, 240]m light worsted (dk) weight yarn.

Marker, a removable marker will make things easier.

20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” / 10cm in st st

Shown in size M (2” of negative ease). For a looser, slouchier hat, work a larger size which may make band too loose. This can be counteracted by working it on smaller needles or threading elastic through at the end.
