Craft-A-Long Details:
- Pattern Choices: Your choice of any pattern from designers Laura Chau or Toni Lipsey.
- CAL Dates: Jul. 1 - Sept. 30th
This is a multi-pattern craft-a-long that starts on July 1st, 2021 and runs through September 30th. We've selected Laura Chau as our featured knit designer and Toni Lipsey as our featured crochet designer for this CAL. Choose any knit or crochet pattern from either of our two featured designers for your project.
Toni Lipsey is the maker behind TL Yarn Crafts, where she designs, teachers, and connects with makers worldwide. Her crochet designs run the gamut, including shawls, sweaters, accessories, and even a couple of knit patterns!
Laura Chau designs knitting patterns for garments and accessories at laurachau.com. A prolific sweater designer, Laura's patterns also include a range of mitts, socks, and shawl patterns to choose from.

This craft-a-long officially begins on the first of July. First, choose your pattern! Pick your yarn, maybe even get ambitious and do a swatch (while earning your Swatchbuckler badge!), and cast-on with your fellow ESKers in the Ravelry thread. When your project is done, head to your Progress Dashboard to submit your project and get your yardage and stars. Our goal is to have as many of you as possible finish your projects within the timeframe of the craft-a-long (truly crafting "along"), but we'll accept submissions for all 2021 craft-a-longs all the way up through December 25th to allow maximum participation.
Prizes: All 2021 CALs have six size options to allow everyone to play. You'll earn more yardage and stars the larger your project is. You can combine as many projects as you'd like - just wait to submit until all your projects for the CAL are done.
Requirements for ALL craft-a-longs:
- All yarn should come from Eat.Sleep.Knit except for minor embellishments
- All projects should start on or after the start date for the craft-a-long and be completed and submitted by December 25th, 2021
- All projects should use the patterns or themes specified by the individual craft-a-long requirements
- All projects completed within the craft-a-long calendar timeframe will be eligible for the Ravelry prize drawings for that craft-a-long.
