Wintersweet is a round yoke cardigan knit from the top down.

 

The V-neck is shaped as the yoke is worked back and forth and is ultimately finished off with a pretty collar and trim. The sleeves have folded cuffs finished with trim to match the collar. 3 simple buttons serve as closures while leaving the slight A-line free to fall gently aside.

Here’s a combination of a classic yoke shape and stranded color-work with an undated finish. The Lily Cardigan is knit from the down. Just like The Daisy Cardigan front ties are built right in to the front edge bind off and little picots lend a bit of polish to cuffs and bottom hem. With a deep Vneck and light waist shaping this is definitely a grown up version o

This little smock is my knit version of a little gathered blouse which is one of my very favorite garments to sew for a little girl.

 

Just like the sewn version the details include a gathered bodice and knitted “piping” along with slightly gathered sleeves and a single button at the back. A gentle scoop neckline and set in sleeves keep it proper yet comfortable in a soft cotton blend.
