Color and patterning of this shawl reminded me of a winter ocean with foamy raging waves on the surface. Poor weather and dark skies reflecting in the ocean add to the color and obscure grey lines of the horizon merging with the sky. Worked in modular technique, this shawl is a great travel project as elements are worked one at a time. Pick your colors and see them transition under your fingers.

A top down design that involves minimal sewing, trimmed with applied cabled edging and the pattern is offered in 13 sizes and comes with options of 2 sleeve lengths and 2 variations for hem.

Juxtaposition of two different knit fabrics makes this pullover versatile - worn as is for warmer days or with more layers when necessary. Relatively simple fabric texture is enhanced with arched hem and A-line silhouette as well as sheer upper body, which is worked with unique stainless steel yarn that molds to one’s shape. Although knit in same color shade, using a variety of fibers produces intriguing fabric that drapes, moves and feels like a dream.

Knit simply straight following the continuous repeats, I had the yarn and stitches dance into peaks and valleys with a lovely zigzagged edges... what was most cool is that the make up of this is so easy.. yet it has an intricate landscape. Rhythm of lace making, which is not very elaborate, but can be a great training for your short-term memory.
