Inspired by Thoroughly Modern Millie, these sock monkey caps feature Jimmy’s glasses and Millie’s hot lips.

 

Ear flaps are knit first,then worked into cast-on round. Ears are picked up and knit once hat is complete, and embellishments are knit separately and stitched on. Sized for monkeys of any age!

A superfast girly knit with two ears, a snout and a curly tail!  Hat is worked in the round; ears are worked separately on double pointed needles as part of the decrease. Snout and tail are knit separately and stitched on. Bows are constructed with a crocheted chain. Sizing implies stretching for a snug fit; size up if you prefer a looser fitting cap.

Circumference: 11.5 (13.25, 14.75, 16.5, 18) inches

Mittens are worked wrist up, in the round, and include thumb instruction for sizes Toddler and up. Hat is worked bottom up and in the round as well. Knit tightly, the set is toasty warm for winter. Both projects are great for beginners.

The textured fabric and weight of this garment makes it suitable for fall or spring, and not too hot for those with mild winters.

 

This almost-seamless cardigan is worked from the bottom up, including the hood. Use a slightly heavier yarn at gauge for a warmer sweater. Hood is shaped to fit the curve of the head, accentuated with ears on top! Instructions to skip ears included as well. Size up for a roomier fit.

Top is finished with delicate picot edging and even the straps include sweet detailing.

 

Chest panel is worked horizontally, so achieving a perfect gauge is less critical. Stitches for lace section are picked up and worked down, making length easily adjustable.  Lace is both charted and fully written.
